“I am pleased to recommend Celia Diaz for admission to your equestrian riding program. I coached Celia during her junior riding years. Celia has a deep love for horses. At the time I was coaching her she didn’t have the easiest pony to ride, and no matter the difficulty she was up for the challenge. She proved that time and time again with the various horses and ponies she has had. She’s an exceptional young woman with the dedication, talent, and work ethic necessary to thrive in any program.
Celia has been riding horses since she was a young child, and over the years she has developed strong skills in both hunters and jumpers, demonstrating natural balance, thoughtful communication with her horses, and a deep understanding of both disciplines. Her experience in the saddle is matched by her discipline on the ground—she is a reliable, hardworking student who is always willing to put in the time and effort required to improve.
What truly sets Celia apart is her attitude. She approaches every challenge with determination and maturity, whether she is working through a tough course, learning a new technique, or caring for the horses she rides. Her calm confidence, paired with her kindness and respect for her trainers, peers, and the horses themselves, makes her a pleasure to work with.
Celia is exactly the type of rider who thrives in a collegiate program: motivated, coachable, passionate, and eager to grow. I am confident that she would bring both skill and character to your team, and I strongly recommend her for admission.
Please feel free to contact me if you need any additional information about Celia’s abilities or her commitment to the sport.”

“It has been our privilege to have Celia Diaz as a student of Wells Bridge Farm. During the time that Celia has been training at Wells Bridge Farm, she has impressed her instructors, Paul and Dorothy Rohrbach, with her dedication and work ethic. She has displayed an excellent attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and an ability to incorporate new skills into everyday practice.
Celia is an active competitor at state and national horse shows. This level of competition requires rigorous training and perseverance in the face of adversity. Celia has demonstrated professionalism and maturity in her conduct as a sportswoman and in her interaction with other competitors. Her utmost desire is to achieve her riding goals and to progress in her knowledge and ability. She is willing to accept constructive criticism and to learn from her mistakes. Celia incorporates that instruction into her formation as the best rider and athlete that she can be.
Additionally, Celia pays particular attention to the other athlete on her team – her horse. She has two different horses that are her partners in competition. Each horse is a unique individual and Celia’s horses are very different from one another in personality and manner in the show ring. Celia has had to evaluate, adapt, and utilize the skills she has learned in a way best suited to the particular horse she is riding.
Celia is member of the team of riders who ride and train at our facility. These riders are from many different age groups and backgrounds. She continually trains in group situations, learning and working with a variety of different people. She views each opportunity as a chance to better herself and learn from the perspective and experience of others.
It is a pleasure to have Celia riding at Wells Bridge Farm, and we look forward with anticipation to all that she will accomplish.”

“During my nearly four years as Celia’s trainer, I have had the privilege of watching her grow not only as a rider but as an individual. Celia is a naturally talented and confident rider, demonstrating exceptional horsemanship from day one. She possesses a strong work ethic, dedication to her horses, and a desire to improve. Celia is always well prepared, whether it’s for lessons or early horse show mornings. She is a true “barn rat,” continually working on the small details that make a difference. Her commitment to excellence in all aspects of her training, from start to finish, is unmatched. Beyond her horsemanship, she approaches everything with determination, grit, and a positive attitude, setting the standard for those around her. No matter where her future takes her, I have no doubt that Celia will be a natural leader.
I wholeheartedly recommend Celia for any opportunity she pursues.”
